Developing and Refining Training Materials
Training materials can be drafted in many different ways, depending on availability of written resources, content experts, and instructional designers. For example,
content experts may be asked to do first drafts that are refined by
instructional designers, or vice versa. Team members may “specialize” in certain modules as developers and act as reviewers for other components of the training.
When draft training manuals or other materials are available, it is helpful to ask a sample of the target audience members to review and comment on them.
