Publicizing Training

Expectations set for training are extremely important. When you advertise the training, be sure the announcement is very clear about whom the course is for and what it promises to deliver to those who attend. When training participants perceive that training is not what they expected, they may “tune out.” Take the time to be sure that training publicity reaches target audience members through channels that work for them and that they understand accurately the potential benefits of training.
