Summative Evaluation

A summative evaluation is done to determine how well a particular delivery went or what it accomplished, but is not necessarily done for the purpose of making changes in the training. Summative evaluations may include assessments of any of the following:
 
(1) Training delivery;
(2) Perceived value of training;
(3) Media, format, and other presentation;
(4) Usefulness of training materials following training; or
(5) Effectiveness with which training is delivered.
